Your data now lives in the Netherlands
FloraSpark has moved to a Dutch cloud in Amsterdam. Your business data and the backups are now in the Netherlands, and nothing else changes for you.
Since Friday 30 October, your data has lived in the Netherlands. That day we moved the FloraSpark platform to Cyso, a Dutch cloud provider from Alkmaar with a data centre in Amsterdam. Your sales, your purchasing and your customer data are kept there, and the backups stay in the Netherlands too. We are proud of that.
Why the Netherlands
Your numbers are the heart of your business. What you sell, to whom and at what price is not something you share lightly. So you also want to know where it is kept.
The answer is now short: in the Netherlands, with a Dutch company, close to home. We build a platform for Dutch ornamental horticulture, in a place that fits it.
What changes for you
Nothing, except that you know where your data is. You sign in as always and the Suite works the way you are used to.
The agreements stay the same too. Your data is yours, is stored encrypted and is never used to train AI. It is all in your data processing agreement.
And the smart assistant?
Spark AI keeps working with the latest AI from Microsoft, inside Europe. You still sign in with your own work account.
